We had a typical tibetan salted tea with yak butter served.
I was curious at first and i can tell you it really tasted strange.
That butter tea is the base of food in this area, they prepare a kind of soft cake by adding a roasted cereal floor to the last drops of tea in the cups. Its prepared with the fingers : the floor is added and mixed until you get a paste.
